The Arizona Chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation is committed to supporting research, education and services as they impact the Parkinson community. The organization strives to increase active membership by encouraging an awareness of local, national, and worldwide research while aiding and affirming support groups. The non profit organization supports educational programs and effective networking and at the same time is active in raising sufficient funds to unify the Parkinson community by improving communication between groups.  The AZNPF was established in 1995 and has a growing number of members: care receivers, care givers, friends and just plain interested persons. The all volunteer board of directors sponsors a variety of activities and events, including an annual meeting and monthly support groups, where members learn the latest news in research and political activities and exchange views with others.
